About Us
The Sacramento Spider-Verse (SSV) is a group of Greater Sacramento Area Spider-Verse cosplayers. Our definition of the Greater Sacramento area includes not only Sacramento, but also El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sutter and Yolo counties. Our group members cosplay as Spider-Men and Women, their amazing friends and gallery of villains. The SSV frequents local conventions including SacAnime, Sacramento Comic-Con, Stocktoncon, Lodi Con, and more, bringing Spider-Verse gatherings that have garnered 70+ participants of all ages. We’ve also recently ventured into giving back to our community through volunteering opportunities such as holiday events, parades, supporting local businesses and more.
We aim to create a positive, inclusive environment in which fellow spider cosplayers can discuss their cosplans, share Spidey-related content, and make new friends! We’re accepting of all, no matter gender, sexuality, race, or creed! After all, anyone can wear the mask, and that includes EVERYONE!!!

History
The SSV was conceived at local convention Ohana Comic Con Folsom February 6th, 2022. A group of Spider-Man cosplayers entered the costume contest under the "Sacramento Spider-Verse" name. When it was their turn to perform, a young Spider-Boy was inspired to join in on the fun. The sense of community created in that moment spoke volumes, and thus the SSV was born.
